Get Rich Or Die Talking
Aha Gazelle
4:56So this next song, believe it or not, is actually Welch's favorite song The day I, so I had made the beat, I had made a loop for the beat Didn't have any drums or anything, in 2014, no, 2015, yeah, 2015 And when I wrote the song, the words came, and I had remembered My mind was like a fog cabin, it went straight to that beat And I said, okay, I need to go find that loop And so I went and found it, and I added the rest of the beat, the drums, etc And I, I did the hook, recorded it And as soon as I finished recording songs, at least in 2016 I would just send them to Welch, text him to his phone, iPhone to iPhone IMessage would let you do that So I sent the song to him, and immediately he texted me back He was like, God was in the room And that, that's his favorite song to this point And everybody we played the song for is just like, oh, man I feel like for me personally, it's Elevators on steroids Because it's almost like Elevators was more directed to people who didn't believe in you But I think Ejection is the people who didn't make it with you Because of uncontrollable circumstance So it's like, you, you didn't, it's not that you didn't believe in me Or you was a hater, you just couldn't come Maybe it's death, maybe it was a broken relationship Maybe it's other things, but it's things that aren't controllable, you know So it's like, it's way more piercing, very piercing to the heart, for sure. Ejection
