HEAVY ON MY MIND
you keep running away changing time and space until you realise
that’s just not the way
it’s creeping through these walls staring into your soul
it’s not giving up
until you let it go
it feels like sand
all over your skin
that you try to wash away try to face within
at times I’m just so scared
of everything surrounding me and I know, it might sound weird but that’s just how I feel
I’m far away from normal in so many ways
but who the hell is normal anyway?
cause it’s all so heavy it’s heavy on my mind and I’m tired of waiting wasting my time you’re lifting me up taking me higher you’re holding me tight when it’s still so heavy heavy on my mind
I almost lost my way
in all these strange places and I don’t feel okay
with all these new faces
darkness feels like home
still I don’t know what’s going on cause it keeps coming back when it keeps coming down
don’t let fear control you don’t let it all control you
