The Trade That Time

Nothing there to eat but
Onions, Cales, brad and wine!
One could barely hold on
Right 'Till the day to die
Full sized misery
Was the trade that time
It wasn't that long ago
It was still in our time
Things have gone much better
But there's still a lot of road ahead
There's the urge to feed the mind
It's not just the body that falls dead
Freedom is the missing link
For a life above our heads
To be free is to be
It's how it's supposed to be
We evolved a lot
But we still have to move on
The world is dying on us
We have to make right
All the wrongs
This world is our oyster
It is the only one
There is no other plan
But to save the one we live on
