Apple Tree (Instrumental)

When I was small I had an apple seed 
And my mama told me
To dig a little hole and water it well
And little by little it grew 
I was crouching down when I saw a tiny leaf

I saw one, I saw two
I kept on going like momma said to 
I saw five leaves, I saw ten
When I got to twenty had to count again
I was balancing on tiptoe
Counting all those little leaves

Years went by and I kept on
My apple tree grew with water and sun
An apple tree tall taller than me
Standing proud like a friend should be
