Poetic death described visualized on the inside
Averting the gaze to external decadence
I've seen way too much given freedom but told how to live
Private media to spoon feed
Some brainwashing is all they need
Slavery but sugar coated

Dancing competing while on strings for measly worldly things
Hyenas overreaching for a place in so many despicable ways
What do you think they'll put on your graves
Forgotten after second generation worked his life to his last station
Routine and the system's salvation
Manufactured reason shaped and calculated
The reins are yours and so is the horse you'll run on their course
No boundaries in sight and the shadows don't make any sounds

A poor mind's plight
Downright ironic the voice of truth
Is lost and found in a fountain of lies
Obedience enterprise and staged crimes
Naive attempts to preach to those already reached
Articulated behavior down to speech

Lively puppets on a switch burned to a crisp to realize this
Been shouting into abyss till voiceless everything right is amiss
My fury my rage has filled an endless well
Since forever a shadow was cast only a few could tell
A pull so vicious it developed a smell
Yet so many fell and many still yell

Falling under their spell
Be damned be cursed in devolution immersed
To those that reign and for power thirst
Blame the sheep blame the shepherd
The latter for arrogance and the former for ignorance
