Shadows

Humans' eyes have filled with apathy
Their dead hearts are lost for the light
Shadows have conquered them
And shackled the wings of freedom

My soul releases howls of madness,
In search for the light it's only lies I find
My eyes are turned blind or evil in my mind

The world is like a translucent serpent,
Turned into shadow,
And reigns over us

My blinded soul is enshrouded in mists,
The pain has worn down, and the dreams have waned
Veiled in the shadows
