It’s like i’m on the old guard

What happened it hurts, don’t sweep it away

And I’m not trying to motivate
Not at all interested in that anymore

Not a hero, not your friend
Not someone you depend on, at the end 
Because it’s not my civic duty to capitalize on how you feel
