Forwards, splash backwards to me
It's awkward counting ripples in the sheets
Feeling fades, feeling she's all I need
What did you say? Trees were moving passed away
But every season it was never stuck the same
Leaves still fall and the colors change
But wind will blow it away

It's hard to speak when it's all said and done
These voices waver back as one
And every regret I see that refracts has got us outdone
And I don't want to lock away
The over-inking quill that set it's spine under the water in the end
Swallowed it up, the ashes descend
