Clouded by this foreseeable disappearance
We drown in the blizzard that eclipsed the swell

Withering snowdrops to dig these foundations
They erected their steles like so many tokens of uncertainty
Spreading the dust as a covenant of life
Creatures of flesh and paper
We came sightless into that world
