Favourite Things

I love singing and dancing and playing in the park 
And walking back home just before it gets dark 
When the air is sweet with the flowers’ perfume 
That’s a favourite thing to me 


Learning to play a brand new game 
Whether you win or lose you enjoy it the same 
Because you’re with your buddies and pals

Colours of the rainbow 
A castle of sand
Sitting under a tree 
Reading “Alice in Wonderland”

Some of the happiest faces I’ve ever seen
When the kids are bouncing on a trampoline
Pretending to be frogs and kangaroos
That’s a favourite thing to me’

Give me the seasons, I Love them all
See the children growing strong and tall
I’m happy and proud with that they do
That’s a favourite thing to me

In the whole wide world, there’s so much love
From a tiny baby to the heaven’s above
The more you give, the more you receive
