Time Did Not

I stood still, but time did not.
I saw the hill and he climbed up, dancing at the peak, at the top.
Cause I stood still and time did not. 

He fell in love with another, and I stood at a distance and said nothing. 
Cause I still wanted to be loved, and to be loved and loved. Sweet turtle dove. 

These are the bones I would've chosen. 
They're the ones I was given and I will gladly hold them.
