Om bhur bhuva swaha
Tat purushaya vidmahe
Mahadevaya Dhimahi 
Tano rudrah pracodayā.

«I surrender to God, seeking refuge in Him.» 
OM - the Universe
NAMAHA - not mine 
SHIVA - the Supreme
Therefore, «OM NAMAH SHIVAYA» also means «all this is not mine but Yours» and «Thy will be done, not mine». 

Om. Oh, Earth, Airspace and Heavens!
tat savitur vareṇyaṃ
May we comprehend that Supreme Spirit!
bhargo devasya dhīmahi
May we contemplate manifestations of the Supreme God in all.
dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt
May the Divine Light illuminate and guide our intelligence!
