حسين حسين حسين

حبيب لا يجيب حبيبه

Take me back to heaven

From Amirul momineen

Millions in procession

To Hussain on Arbaeen

An ocean of mourners we flood to you

Walking till your dome is in our view

The arc of salvation's what we pursue

If only they knew what your lovers knew

Hussain is our guide

Abbas is our pride

Karbala is where

All our hearts reside

Take me back to heaven

From Amirul momineen

Millions in procession

To Hussain on Arbaeen

In Najaf we send condolence to Ali

With a heavy heart the tears are now set free

Walk to the sound of yearning in harmony

Fleeting lovers sail to his progeny

Tired yet we stride

Mashay will provide

Welcome dear zuwar

The servants replied

Take me back to heaven

From Amirul momineen

Millions in procession

To Hussain on Arbaeen

Young and old march to the Gold dome where hearts beat

The whole world under one banner came to meet

No matter the cold and no matter the heat

Take us all as Bishr came with our bare feet

Painful yet we glide

My eyes open wide

Our love for Hussain

Will never subside

Take me back to heaven

From Amirul momineen

Millions in procession

To Hussain on Arbaeen

I feel it in my soul I sense his presence near

Among the walkers or among these volunteers

Yes we grieve yet his sorrow's beyond severe

Ya Aba Saleh is this where you appear

Your eyes never dried

Heartbroken you sighed

Mourning all alone

Your pain forced to hide

Take me back to heaven

From Amirul momineen

Millions in procession

To Hussain on Arbaeen

Soul at ease I'm on my knees baynal haramayn

Run to Hashems moon Abbas hoping to gain

Permission and please Habib write down my name

As a visitor of Aba Abdillah Hussain

Now I'm by your side

I broke down and cried

My Master here slaughtered

From water denied

Take me back to heaven

From Amirul momineen

Millions in procession

To Hussain on Arbaeen
