I've been hoarding my mementos
At an ever growing speed
But it's getting hard to eek past towers
Of all the grocery store receipts

And I swear that it's important
Cataloging every day

Displayed when you were away

I wish that lightning would come down
And smite my backup drives and USBs
And zap them back into bricks

I hope the the sprinklers would turn on
And bleed the ink until everything is
Impossible to recover

I've been tracing every second
Every record I can keep
I bought a pen designed for outer space
