Alone with my own quiet thoughts
Renewed by the soft evening light
I ponder God's glorious plan for mankind
And rejoice in the wonder of life

My soul is at peace, for I know
My spirit was given its birth
By heavenly parents who taught me with love
And prepared me to come to this earth

I know where I came from
I know why I'm here
With God as my father, I've nothing to fear
He loves me, He wants me, to grow and receive
All the joy that is possible, this I believe

My life on this earth is the time
To grow and become more like Him
With faith and a brightness of hope in my Lord
His light in my life will not dim

Those seasons of sorrow may try
To rob me of joy in this life
I'll look to my father, and trust in His care
Finding peace in the warmth of His light

I know where I came from, I know why I'm here
With God as my Father, I've nothing to fear
He loves me, He wants me to grow and receive
All the joy that is possible, this I believe
And if I prove worthy, I'll one day ascend

There to be with Him again
This I believe with all my soul
This by the Spirit I know
