we could just forget everything and leave them here
take a walk underneath the summer sky
along the shops and the tavern lights,
past the parked cars and leave our cares behind us

each others eyes, past the periphery
beyond all memories of this old town
underneath the stars and fix our stares in their reflection

through this faceless college town bar
