What Colour Is Love?

Roses are red, like berries in summer
Blue is the sky above
Colours in everything I can see
But what colour is love?

Golden-laced frames on pictures of us
Flowers of lavender hues
Bluebirds sing melodies from their hearts
But what can I say about you?

I've looked at my palette of colours
None seem to show how I feel
I'll take all of my brushes and pick up my paint
I'll make a new colour for you
