Ah, that's wonderful man, that's great
"The rebirth of Kirk Franklin", what does it really mean?
Well, the last few years I've been going through some things
That at that time, you know, I didn't realise that God was in it
Breaking me and making me more into what he wanted me to be (uh)

And so, now, through that process I just kinda feel born again, you know
I'm feeling that; that's really, really deep man
But the vision now is more on the ministry (I hear you)
And I really don't want no more attention on me or another person
I really want the attention now to be more on Christ
Okay so basically, the emphasis is now more on the ministry rather than the messenger
Am I correct? (That's very correct, and as a matter of fact)
That's what we should call it
"The ministry of Kirk Franklin"
