At what age do you feel like a grown up?
Is it when you get those keys?
To your first car or when you crash it
Or walk in the bar without a fake ID?
Is it gettin' your first house
Losing your first love or moving out of your hometown?
Is it when you get married, start having babies?
Yeah, I thought I'd know by now

Gettin' older don't make you wiser
It's the heartbreaks along the way
And some prayers just don't get answered
Until you look back someday

Still need my mama at 27
Thought I'd be living my five year plan ten years ago
I'm just making it up as I go

Maybe when I turn thirty
I'll finally feel settled down
Or will I still feel like a grown up kid
