Moving Song

Moving out the morning after tomorrow
And my belly won't stay still
Can't stay on my feet more than a minute
I get dizzy once I'm in it
I'm afraid I always will

Maybe it's the pancakes that my brother made
If it is, I'll never say
Maybe the caffeine is why I'm heaving
Or the idea that I'm leaving
Anyway, I won't be packing anymore til it goes away

Not sure what to fit inside one suitcase
When I've picked up such a heavy load
And what's more
I'd hoped to go a month ago in the first place
Now my heels are bleeding from digging into the floor

Moved about a month ago tomorrow
And I rarely feel a chill
Heat is all controlled by my apartment
I don't know quite where the start went
I keep the AC on still

Neighbors say the world out there is interesting
And I'm sure that they would know
Heard it's still quite warm though it's November
Warmest fall we can remember
Wonder why the radiator's running even so

Don't know how this all fit inside one suitcase

Now my heel's still bleeding from digging into the floor
