6:28for moons unnumbered I have dwelt Beneath the watchful eye of northern stars This snow clad land upon which i tread Holds awe and wonders, be I dead? Snow falls gently from laden clouds Heralding the arrival of darkened nights Mountains loom against blood red skies Along the path, my doom it lies Under pine boughs i slowly pass Feeling the weight of this slumbering land Oaken glens I wander past Over my face, my hood I cast Souls of the slain: shadows fight A crushing weight to bare Cries of brethren long fallen i hear This be what more I fear As darkness builds my eyes grow dim trees quiver, groan and sway Night it cloaks this tired land with pounding heart in snow i stand Frozen wind upon my face moonlight catches the blackened trees Whispers of an ancient tongue run through my head without fear or sorrow I am lead I wander now where no footprints tread... Upon leaves of parchment torn and faded The book of days in blood im read This long forgotten wilderness summons Recounting past ages, Long dwindled dead across these silent lands behold The calling legends the tales of old The Call Of The Forest.
