Uhm, it was written in vulnerability, uh
Then I guess the explanation would be this
The explanation is simple, you know, uhm

When you're single you may have a few friends
And, in my case you know
Even though I would know that
Whatever girl I'm with probably has her own set of friends outside of me
Uhm, in the moment that we're intimate
I wanna feel like it belongs to me

Uhm, I don't wanna imagine all the other people that
You may be attracted to or you may be sleeping with
Uhm, I don't wanna think about that
I just wanna feel like it's just you and me in this moment

And I think as men, you know
That's how we wanna feel, and
I guess the song just kinda wrote itself in that spirit, you know
