Thankful

Living the life from a dream I’d say it’s been well
I put in work so my dreams on a big scale
I tend to say I’ve done it myself but I had some big help
My parents walked around with no fingers so I’d have clipped nails
Gave me space and room to build a big well
They gave me heaven so lyrically I could bring hell
Believing in my dreams and a home has been a big help
Leading to me to paving a road to get that big sale
I’m working harder than ever to make something for us
Something for me something for you something we’ll all love
Something for he something for we something we all want
Something you need bring it to me I can figure it out
I owe y’all the world and more than I could give
I thank you for love and everything you give
I thank pops for this, thank you for the gift
I thank moms for this life she let me live
So I say

A lot of people don’t have a daddy and mama so I’m thankful for my parents
A lot of people can’t say that they’ve had a home so I’m thankful for my parents
I love the moments that me and father be sharing so I’m thankful for my parents
I wouldn’t be here without my mommy and daddy so I’m thankful for my parents 

I see the times go by I wish I get more
I think about those times I wish I missed those
Hit the disco with father play dance central
I‘ve been focused on winning so much I lose monumental 
Memories in life cause I’m focused on switching distros
on making money so dad can look out the window
Seeing me in a charger that really I’m giving him though
Or momma signing a lease to house that’s bigger than 
What’s more important they love or proudness of me?
What’s more important a hug or loudness of beat?
What’s more important our tree or money on a tree?
No more questions I’m finna just give the best of me
To both my parents I love you and I hope you can see
I’m trying hard to be someone not disappointing you
But from me trying I feel like I’m disappointing you
