The Looking Glass

The tension in my body's getting colder
As the time bends on
Thought that I'd be cured as I get older
But the lines stay strong

And when I'm alone with my own devices
I'm scared enough to run
I cannot be trusted in my own mind or I'll
Stay in there too long

My young soul has disappeared
It's lost it's spark
And I'm reluctant
To stay looking in the mirror
Long enough to fear what I've become
