Ornaments

Could you help me out and say it? That I was in out of my depth?
Couldn't catch myself from falling off the earth

Could you let me shelve the failures?
I'd be sitting down for this mess

Sent a card back home with a poem on the front
The time is showing the cracks upon my hands

Could it feel like this forever? Be where I wanted to be?
Could I say it now without breaking down again?

I'm finally throwing this stack of ornaments
And I'm fine with growing out of who I am
