Do you hear the thunder, rolling in my head.
I have lost all sense of wonder,  hope to me is dead.
Think I'm hearing pain in motion, seeing all of sorrows thought.
In my heart this desperation,  just cannot be fought.

Will I learn  what you must teach me, before I'm out of time
Make these fires burn rekindled, and this thirst for life revived
From this point of constant trouble, I must survive.
