Pedestal

Standing on top this pedestal
My feelings go as I start to petrify
Been locking myself away in the studio
I'm starting to feel like a maniac

I realize all the things I no longer relate to
And nobody relates to the things I say
Always surrounded, feeling isolated
All the different me's are starting to look the same

As I walk along the edge of this pedestal
The loneliness consumes me little by little
I fall forward into the bottomless dark
In hopes of the light I need to save me from this
