Birds

there are many things
that i could say
but i wont say them just yet
i'll wait another day
too many people in the room
so many things i'd rather do

i dont wanna be here anymore
im not having any fun
theres a lot of times i lay awake at night
and regret everything i've ever done

i see lots of birds
flying through the sky
one day im gonna fly that high
they jump off the roof
into the sky so blue
one day im gonna do it too

i make many mistakes
i make them all the time
when people ask me whats wrong
i just say that im fine
i hate it all i want to cry
wanna run away and leave it all behind

im trying my best to keep it together but i cant take it anymore
i just cant wait for that moment when im speeding towards the floor

i see lots of birds
flying through the sky
one day im gonna fly that high
they say goodbye
and they might cry
but they dont care if they die

birds in the sky
no longer will they have to cry
birds flying so fast
this moment will be their last
