There'S A Bear

We were cooking sausages  
on the campfire singing songs,  
when suddenly I heard a sound.  
I knew something was wrong.   
   
I got my torch and had a look.  
Something moved behind a tree.  
I saw a wild animal.  
There was a bear in front of me!  
   
Were you sitting round the fire   
when the bear appeared?  
Were you singing camp songs   
when the bear appeared?

The bear appeared.

I shouted: 'Everybody run!   
There's a bear behind the tree!  
It's a great big scary bear.

It was just a baby bear. 
It was scared. It ran away. 
We packed our things 
and left the camp. 
We'll go camping another day!
