You've never been easy
To reason with, and I
Get uneasy if you're quiet for long

And tend to get it terribly wrong

But you shoot it off like you wish it were a gun

Turned black or blue
I don't remember it

To burn away the rest of me that's left in you

Assuming I still love you too

You've carried the old days
