When I was young
My old man told me
We were one of the greatest countries in history
Lighthouses were built in ways our ancestors never could have imagined
We had ports and fleets in nearly every city
And we won a lot of wars
My dream was to be a sailor and explore the seas
But then that thing ... happened
Dad became quiet ever after
It destroyed everything
Looking back now
I realize how beautiful my childhood was
But it's like an old mixtape that was destined to break
But you just can't stop thinking about what if
