Oh they don't know you
and you're wading deeper
than you know
and when a cub becomes a fighter
he takes his lead from an elder
who has so much more room to grow

Come on poet
show us what you know then

Did you think it was over
'cos so did I
I can't take on the tiger while I'm still this child
and if something was worth saving I'd have thought we'd try
it's getting so hard to remember to be fair and kind

But it's been a long time
and I'm still in your life

Calling out like a ranger
looking for a bone to break
and your eyes are bigger than I'm used to
