Superpower

I have a superpower
Not many people know that I do
But I'm gonna share it with you
'Cause I think you might have this power too
I'm gonna show you how it works
Show you sometimes when I like to use it
Its powers are never ending
Could use it all day if I need it

The power I yield is hard to see
A secret agent who shows up when I need
Means I can stay in charge of how I feel
It's a power that lives inside of me

When I am feeling scared
Maybe I'm shy but I need to speak
Or monsters are filling my head
Imagination telling me they're under my bed
When the scare and the worry is deep
Coming in like a wave rushing up to my feet
I call on my superpower
To control how the wave affects me

Breathe a deep breath and I take control
My power kicks in and that's when I know
I'm the one in charge of my mind
No monsters live here, get out of my head

Something's unfair and it's all I can see
Red rage is filling me up
