c duck ran down to the sandy beach
He said to the kids within his reach
“Hey! Flip-flop-flap, wanna play tag with me?”
The kids said, “Sure! Let's splash and run!
We'll chase the waves and have some fun!
Catch us if you can!”
The duck said, “I can!”
Then he waddled away

Ran along the bay

Kicked up sand all day

In the sunny rays

Then the duck came back with a bucket and a hat
He said to the kids building castles flat

We'll make a moat too!”

Then he waddled away

Then the duck saw shells and shiny stones

Treasure's waiting on this sandy ground!

Then he waddled away

Seagulls joined the play

The duck and the kids sat on the ground
