The Vengeance
Tryglav
4:12Endless wasted life Still, the suns will set And the mornings’ many faces always call one greeting That never sounds as though they’d left Endless sickness within me I cannot keep inside ’Til the voices of the day would quiet They’d never echo through evening skies Through my lucid mind I rest my head and Then I close a single eye Everything comes to memory And I can picture Life as if through other minds Stale and empty days I would gorge on death And the days gave way to the malnourishment I feel Time given to reflect Empty thoughts I’ve repeated The past they’re burying (burying) Seeping through the cracks within the facade That you have built around our lives In my lucid mind I rest my head and Then I close a single eye Everything comes to memory And I can picture Life as if through other minds Am I alive Or am I dead In a world that’s always sinking far below the level I thought we’d come to rest And I’ve grown tired as we’ve fallen With every passing night (every life) The morning always spreads, infects the mind Plagues the coming times
