I constantly feel it, your reassuring presence  
This perpetual threat 
Bringer of lies 
With poisoned cells 
The rotten wood hidden under the tempting bark 
Which crumbles when my gaze lingers long enough 
Your tricks lull my thoughts in the direction of the current 
Until you dream of swallowing me 
I totally belong to you 

Metastasis, my cursed and faithful shadow 
You make me want to escape from my own skin 

It's both comfortable and unbearable 
Your smile burns me, the corners of your lips stretch to infinity 
Jubilant with cruelty and delight in my impassive distress 
Doomed to inaction 
A room without exit, brilliant of vacuum 

The only one who will never abandon me 
Who masks my solitude, puts reality to sleep 
A magnificent face of protective illusions 

My reason to live, my reason to die 
In the slow euthanasia you wove for me
