Interview #1

I'm sitting here with Corey Miller who is wrongfully convicted 
in the murder of Steve Thomas. 
From state witnesses that were forced to testify 
against Mr. Miller the DA covering up mounds of evidence, 
he's been fighting this long uphill battle with the state of Louisiana for nearly two decades. 
We're going to try and get down to the bottom of this a
nd ask him all of the questions that everyone has been wanting to know the answers to.  
Hi Corey. How are you today?
I'm breathing.  
I'm well but I won't rest until I'm free for real. 
That's great to hear.  
As you know this has been a much-awaited album everyone 
has anxiously waiting to hear from you
and the details of your story for so long.
So why now and why this album?
Its like its time I've grown up wise and I mean look at this country the racism, 
the racial injustice its happening its real. 
Cops are murdering black men on TV. 
We've all seen the hatred ?? 
It's gotta stop.
Will you get in any sort of trouble for putting this album out??
 It's like I'm already in trouble. I'm in chains.  
I mean let's be brave don't be afraid.  
We gotta come together, ya heard me.
