䷱ 50-鼎卦【火風鼎】

鼎，元吉，亨。

初六，鼎顛趾，利出否，得妾以其子，无咎。
九二，鼎有實，我仇有疾，不我能即，吉。
九三，鼎耳革，其行塞，雉膏不食。方雨虧悔，終吉。
九四，鼎折足，覆公餗，其形渥，凶。
六五，鼎黃耳金鉉，利貞。
上九，鼎玉鉉，大吉，无不利。

《彖傳》：鼎，象也。以木巽火，亨飪也。聖人亨以享上帝，而大亨以養聖賢。
巽而耳目聰明，柔進而上行，得中而應乎剛，是以元亨。

《象傳》：木上有火，鼎，君子以正位凝命。

《序卦傳》：革物者莫若鼎，故受之以鼎。

《雜卦傳》：鼎，取故也。

Hexagram 50-Rejuvenation(Ting)【Fire Wind Ting】

Ting, great good fortune, favorable

Line１：The cauldron is overturned at the feet, it is advantageous to remove what is not right, obtaining a concubine and her child, no blame
Line 2：The cauldron contains something, my enemy is ill, he cannot reach me, good fortune
Line 3：The ear of the cauldron is changed, its movement is blocked, the pheasant fat is not eaten. When the rain is about to fall, regrets diminish, in the end, good fortune
Line 4：The leg of the cauldron is broken, the food of the prince is spilled, its form is soaked, danger
Line 5：The cauldron has a yellow ear and a golden ring, advantageous to be correct and firm
Line 6：The cauldron has a jade ring, great good fortune, there is no disadvantage

《The Judgment》：Ting, an image. With wood compliant to fire, cooking is done. The sage cooks to offer to the Supreme Deity, and greatly cooks to nourish the worthy and the wise. Compliant and with keen hearing and sight, softness advances and moves upward, obtaining the center and responding to the strong, thus greatly favorable

《The Image》：Fire above wood, Ting. The superior man, by this, establishes his position and concentrates on his destiny

《The Sequence of the Hexagrams》：There is nothing better than a cauldron for changing things, hence it is followed by Ting

《The Mixed Hexagrams》：Ting, to take the old
