I gave my hands, I gave my time,
Built their dreams, helped them climb.
Held their hearts when they fell apart,
Lit their way through the darkest nights.

I saw the weight upon their souls,
Carried burdens, made them whole.
But now the Voices call my name,
And I'm the one who's lost in pain.
