You Only Die Once

I’ve seen it all the joy and the scars,
Golden days and nights behind bars.
I watched the kind turn cold and blind,
Hearts get sold, and love unwind.
The more I gave, the less I had,
Till silence spoke louder than the mad.

I walked through pain with an empty hand,
Tried to hold on, but I don't understand.
Where did the meaning go, and why?
But I still don’t let my hope die.

If i can’t find peace in this world so wild,
Let me go out with a quiet smile.
No gold, no crown, just peace for a while

I’ve felt the weight of being alone,
In crowded rooms that never felt like home.
Memories play like a broken reel,
Where I don’t know what’s fake or real.
Anxiety’s voice, always near,

And though I carry these unseen fights,
I never gave in to endless nights.
If there's no joy left in this mile,
